A Singapore and UK-based OEM required local technical support across two active rigs simultaneously in Bass Strait and off the West Australian coast. Project delays and persistent weather disruptions created continuously shifting schedules, demanding rapid mobilisation at short notice. The end client also required technicians holding specific offshore tickets, adding a further qualification constraint.

We managed our technician roster dynamically, fielding late-night calls, amending travel bookings at short notice and liaising directly with our personnel to ensure qualified, ticket-holding technicians remained continuously available on both rigs throughout the HP Riser installation programme. Every schedule change was absorbed without disruption to the client.

The client needed to identify major project execution risks across a significant offshore gas development as a prerequisite to achieving FID. The review was required at short notice, over the Christmas and New Year period, and to a standard to support critical investment decisions.

We delivered a bespoke pre-FEED review tailored specifically to the project, its risks, stakeholder structure and decision-making requirements. Rather than applying a generic framework, we designed the review from the ground up to address what the client actually needed to progress confidently to FID.

The review was delivered on time and to the client’s full satisfaction. The work stood clearly apart from what larger engineering firms had proposed, and the client said so. The feedback said everything about the difference between our bespoke approach and the templated processes offered by others.

The project required offshore subsea installation work in a politically unstable operating region. Standard insurers declined to provide coverage, leaving the client unable to mobilise their technicians. Without insurance, the campaign could not proceed.

Drawing on our global network, we secured the specialist insurance coverage required to operate in the region. No other tendering contractor was able to achieve this. With coverage in place, we deployed skilled technicians to deliver the full scope.

Despite significant client-side delays, we maintained continuity of support throughout, providing highly skilled technicians who kept the programme moving. A project that would otherwise have been delayed was successfully completed, made possible solely by our ability to secure coverage no other contractor could provide.
